This Privacy Policy explains how ASAP Roadworthys Marketing Tools ("the application", "we", "us") accesses, uses and protects information received from Google. The application is a private, internal tool operated by ASAP Auto Group (trading as ASAP Roadworthys), based in Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. It is used only by our authorised staff to manage the company's own Google business and marketing accounts.

Information we access

When an authorised staff member connects the application to their Google account, the application accesses the following through Google APIs, only for accounts that ASAP Auto Group owns or is authorised to manage:

Google Business Profile (business.manage permission): business and location information (name, address, hours, contact details, categories, attributes and media), posts, customer reviews and our replies, and performance insights for our own listings.
Google Ads: our own advertising account, campaign settings and campaign performance reports.
Google Analytics: traffic and usage reports for our own websites, and our Analytics account and property settings.
Google Search Console: search performance and indexing data for our own websites.
Google Tag Manager: the containers, tags and settings used on our own websites.

The application does not access any individual's personal Google account data beyond what is required to sign in the connecting staff member (their name, email address and the authorisation token issued by Google).

How we use the information

To view, create and update our own business listings, publish posts and respond to customer reviews.
To manage our own advertising campaigns and measure how they perform.
To report on and improve the performance of our own websites.
To manage the tracking tags on our own websites.

We may also send our own conversion data (for example, completed bookings) to our own Google Ads account to measure how our ads perform. Any customer identifiers are hashed before they are sent, as Google requires.

We use this information only to operate and improve ASAP Roadworthys' own business and marketing. We do not use Google user data to build profiles of individuals, to target or retarget advertising at individuals, or for any purpose unrelated to managing our own accounts.

Limited Use disclosure

ASAP Roadworthys Marketing Tools' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use this data only to provide the application's features to our authorised staff, who view and manage our own accounts through it. We do not sell this data, and we do not use or transfer it to serve personalised or retargeted advertising, to determine creditworthiness, or to train generalised artificial intelligence or machine learning models. Apart from that staff use, we do not allow anyone to read the data except where required for security purposes, to comply with applicable law, or where the data has been aggregated and anonymised for internal operations.

Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell, rent or share information obtained through Google APIs with third parties for their own purposes. To run the application, we use a small number of service providers that process data on our behalf, including an AI assistant service (Anthropic's Claude) that our staff use to query and act on our own accounts. These providers may only process the data to provide their service to us, and are not permitted to use it to train their own models. We may also disclose information where required by law.

Data storage and retention

Any data retrieved by the application is stored securely within ASAP Auto Group's own systems and those of our service providers, and is accessible only to authorised staff. Authorisation tokens are stored securely and can be revoked at any time from the connected Google account. We retain data only for as long as it is needed to manage our accounts, and we delete it when it is no longer required.

Revoking access

A connected Google account can withdraw the application's access at any time via the Google Account permissions page at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect information accessed by the application, including restricted staff access and secure storage of credentials.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version and its effective date are always shown at the top of this page.
